It’s Lyla and two days ago I arrived at Singapore and I am having SUCH a good time. Because we don’t have a house in Singapore, ( well, we probably won’t anyway) we’re staying at my mums friends house! My mums friends has a daughter and a son. Last time I came to Singapore, I was about seven years old, and I was umm… a bit, well, nuts. Ruby was eight years old, or was she nine? I dunno, but here in Singapore the accent is basically an American accent, which is pretty strange because it’s closer to England that the USA. Because everyone talks in this accent, you end up talking like it yourself! I only caught it yesterday, and mum hasn’t caught it yet. I guess it’s a bit like a illness, but a good one!
